I have been struggling with this thing and I have only come to notice that this only happens for high damping, or low bounce. If that is the case, the particles are created normally during the set duration, and when they start bouncing on the plane below the emitter, they all suddenly disappear at the same time.
I have also noticed that for some medium damping values, they reappear after they all have apparently bounced. However, if damping is low enough, this behaviour is not shown. Moreover, this seems to happen with low values of bounce, similarly to the former case. Anyone knows what is happening and whether it can be fixed?
