How to handle localization plus fonts on mobile.

I'm currently at the point of getting near a release of a mobile game and have prepared for localization through the development process. Aside from getting everything translated to given languages my question is in regard to fonts. Is it common practice to compile separate versions per locale, appv1-french.apk for french (using french fonts), other langs, english for english and default, etc? Or - are people including the fonts in the apk, which would be a size issue. Next question - because I presume compiling separate apks for each would be best - what about Facebook? Any worries there, as we do pass focus to them for logins, etc. Thanks for the help, looking for answers from people who have experience with this and a successful app. PS. Android / Play release (followed by Amazon / iOS / WP8)
